Defining Sherlock Life Cycle Environments

Defining Sherlock Life Cycle Environments

This presentation will explain how to define environments in Sherlock as a life cycle. Each project has a defined life cycle that includes all the load phases for the boards in the project. Sherlock allows the definition of four basic events: Thermal cycles, Random and Sinusoidal vibration and mechanical shock. Combinations of these events can be used together to create complex life phases. The life cycle editor and the various options for editing phases will be explained. Examples will be shown for a few of applications. This session is meant for any member of the reliability team and Sherlock users.
