Thermal Management in the Electronic Design Process


We are pleased to invite you to our Simcenter FLOEFD software session to give you an introduction on how our CAD-embedded CFD solution can be used in your product development cycle.


During the morning session you will be introduced to the basic principles of Simcenter FLOEFD and you will also learn how to interpret calculation results correctly.


In the afternoon we will present you some real customer examples followed by a hands-on session in which you will have the opportunity to use your own model and to prepare a simulation in Simcenter FLOEFD.


You are also invited to send us your model in advance so that it can be checked and prepared to use it during the workshop.

  • The basics of Simcenter FLOEFD for electronics cooling, modeling and common practice.
  • To set up a CFD analysis in Simcenter FLOEFD.
  • How to visualise CFD results.
  • To drive design changes based on results and comparison with the original project.
  • The unique features of Simcenter FLOEFD to solve thermal management problems in their electronic design models.
  • Discover the Simcenter FLOEFD EDA Bridge and HyperLynx connection features. A unique approach where PCB designs can be imported into Simcenter FLOEFD and where thermal simulation models are generated from EDA data.

Bring your own model


Bring your own model in advance so that it can be checked and prepared to use it during the workshop. Please indicate on the registration form the name of the CAD software you are using and your interest to send your model. You can do that at 'Remarks'.




If you would like to attend the workshop then please register before Thursday the 24th of February 2022, and confirm your attendance (per person) at the registration form. After your confirmation, instructions will follow on how to send us your model.
