Intelligent standardization of BOM entry using the new "Smart Reader" in BOM Connector Enterprise

 

 

This year, CircuitByte integrated AI-related functionality for faster reading of BOM lists with update 10.4 of the market-leading BOM Connector Enterprise.

 

With BOM Connector Enterprise Version 10.4, the manufacturer numbers (MPNs) that are so important for the quotation process are now automatically recognized, so that the parts lists for the quotation process can be read in even faster. From now on, users can read the most complex parts lists independently and create standardized “Golden BOMs” in individual company format in a simplified and automated way.

 

The smart extension of the BOM Connector Enterprise lies in the intelligent handling of the manufacturer numbers (MPNs). The new BC-READ module gives users the option of automatically recognizing the part number, manufacturer number and manufacturer name, so that the correct information is included quickly and efficiently. All irrelevant data is automatically filtered and the BOM read is forwarded much more quickly in the further processes of cost calculation, production and transfer to the ERP.

 

CircuitByte is presenting its BOM Connector Enterprise and update 10.4 at productronica in Munich from November 14th to 17th in Hall B2, Stand 229.
