What's new in BluePrint-PCB 2604
Blog by Patrick Hope
The recent addition of BluePrint-PCB to the Siemens portfolio represents a significant evolution for our customers, as it provides an advanced documentation tool for the PCB development lifecycle, from design through manufacturing release.
BluePrint-PCB helps engineering teams streamline PCB documentation by creating comprehensive fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, panel drawings, inspection documentation and related manufacturing outputs from PCB design data. Whether used as a standalone solution or integrated into an existing Xpedition environment, the 2604 release of BluePrint helps PCB design teams replace disjointed manual documentation steps with a more consistent, intelligent and design-driven documentation process.
What's new in BluePrint-PCB 2604
The 2604 release of BluePrint focuses on bringing the product more directly into the Siemens ecosystem. The release improves how customers access, manage and learn the software, while connecting them to Siemens support resources for help when they need it.
Key capabilities include:
- BluePrint-PCB is now delivered directly in the Xpedition software download
- BluePrint-PCB project data can be accessed through EDM via Xpedition Layout
- Global support through Siemens Support Center
- A stronger documentation flow for PCB design and manufacturing
BluePrint-PCB represents the de facto industry leader in PCB documentation creation.

Efficient Solar Battery Charging SystemThe Efficient Solar Battery Charging System first introduced in 2020 highlighted a forward thinking idea: engineers make better decisions when they can interact with real components inside real application models. That insight has only grown more important, and PartQuest Explore is the platform that brings it to life at scale.
