Advance your Sherlock Software Technical Skills
Wednesday and Thursday, March 9 and 10, 2016
Increase your Sherlock user skills, learn more about critical features, and earn a Sherlock User Certificate. We offer two levels of training to our Sherlock Automated Design Analysis™ software users.
Sherlock Intermediate Technical Training
The intermediate Sherlock user training is for users who have completed the basic “Introductory” course and completed 3-4 projects. This training will expose the users to the various tools in Sherlock that are not covered in depth in the introductory class. At the end of this session the user will be able to use the standalone tools in Sherlock, define a large array of life cycles, customize analysis properties and manage results. The user will also be able to handle most common installation questions for wide implementation in their company.
Wednesday, March 9, 2016 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Sherlock Advanced Technical Training
The Advanced Sherlock user training is meant for users who have completed the “Intermediate” course. This course provides the essential theoretical background for the advanced user. There is an emphasis on customization and direct manipulation of input data. The FEA integration modules are introduced. Alpha and beta features will be discussed and demonstrated.

Package technology is constantly improving in order to keep up with the advances in silicon technology. Multi layered packages exhibit several failure modes that can be predicted using modern software tools. This paper provides a methodology for creating a high-fidelity model of the interposer with all the conductor geometries. The two failure modes that are explored with this model are package warpage prediction due to actual copper imbalance and filled microvia delamination
