Creating a HALT Test Plan
with Sherlock Automated Design Analysis™ Software
Note: This is a rebroadcast of a previous webinar. There will be DfR Solutions staff available live during the webinar to answer your questions.
HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) is a method of quickly finding manufacturing, design and other obvious defects in electronic assemblies. Most major manufacturing organizations use HALT to improve product reliability.
This webinar will introduce some HALT schemes used by manufacturers to characterize system performance. We will show how combining HALT and predictive models can enhance the test efficiency. We will also explore the validity of some of the failure modes that can appear during HALT. We will present some real-world examples of the concepts. The webinar will be about 1 hour and there will be time for questions.
