The new Simcenter Flotherm 2020.1 release is now available on Support Center.

2 key aspects of this release are:

1) Reduced order modeling enhancements:

  • Thermal Netlist export to VHDL-AMS format (IEEE standard) to enhance electro-thermal circuit simulation in tools such as Mentor SystemVision Cloud, Eldo,…
  • FMU BCI-ROM support. This allows reduced order models generated from 3D thermal analysis to be used by 60+ tools including Simcenter Amesim and Simcenter Flomaster system level modeling tools. Learn how this is particularly useful in power electronics applications for automotive EV thermal management and control simulations.

2) EDA data enhancement

  • A new streamlined structure for PCB data transferred from EDA Bridge
