Organizations often consider Agile software development an alternative to Waterfall development and adopt principles that fit projects and organizational needs, blending development concepts. Accommodating hybrids requires replacing disconnected, inefficient tools with application management tools (ALM) to support multiple, continuously evolving processes. Agile teams meet and determine what to achieve in the short-term, while managers and executives need insight into the long-term picture. The Live approach to project information handling helps companies reach team level to organization level needs. It addresses three areas tools must address to ensure proper support: corporate governance, requirements management and project management.

Significantly reduce risk of project failure and increase efficiencies of regulatory compliance

Agile methods have proven their ability to improve project success rates, but there is still yet-to-be explored territory. Tracing software requirements elicitation onward while managing the risk of non-compliance to industry standards and regulatory mandates is achievable using Agile methodology with the appropriate supporting tools. This paper presents a standard method of information sharing, tracking and tracing using the Live approach and how the adoption and refinement of Agile methods significantly reduce risk and increase efficiencies of regulatory compliance.
