In this webinar you will learn how to calculate the thermal derating value for electronic assemblies. The thermal derating calculations for boards with many components can be time consuming. Usually, the analysis assumes that the whole board is at the same high temperature while in reality that is not the case. This webinar shows how to perform a thermal derating analysis based on the results from a thermal conduction analysis performed in Abaqus. The model creation is performed automatically through the Sherlock interface making the process faster and more efficient.
